Do the New Orlean Saints have a Minnesota Vikings curse?

Posted on 01/05/2020 1:35:49 PM PST by MNJohnnie

So despite another awesome effort to tie it up and send it to OT, the Saints lose to the Vikings again in the playoffs.

Unfortunately I have to agree. The Seahawks might still knock them off, though. I don't see anybody beating the Ravens or even the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

No curse, but a great game from both teams.

A big win for my favorite team against my least favorite team.

No such thing as a curse. But it sure is sweet to see the New Orleans mafia hit squad lose another. Brett Farve must be smiling.

Very true. Many appearances in the Super Bowl by the Vikings, no wins. They always choke.

Kinda like the Saints today.

Where do the Saints play next week, other than with themselves????

Wonder how many New Orleans wide screen TVs got thrown out the window today?

None, at least not till after the Tiger Bowl - Clemson vs. LSU.

Love watching Sean Payton lose.

The Vikings were a victim of the Saints “Bounty” system for cheap shots.
Sean Payton was suspended for 1 FULL season in 2012.

Saints! Don’t care either way.

Payton doesn’t deserve to win.

I always root for the underdogs.

So......

Note To Self- Cheer for the Saints next year.

(The guys in my home this afternoon were ambiguous about who they wanted to win since the Pats are out.)

They do now. :^) Getting to the playoffs is hard. NO was just good enough to get there, same goes for the Vikings. FWIW, I hope the Packers get their asses handed to them by whomever wins the Seahawks/Eagles game that's about half done right now.

The Vikings lost fair and square that year. And don’t bring up the photo off Farves leg. I’ll bet you can pick out a number of photos of other players with similar injuries that didn’t cry about them and blame the other team for their loss. As far as Bounty gate, the Saints were one of the least penalized teams that year for defensive penalties. Vikings were sore losers that year.
