A team quarterbacked by Ryan Tannehill beat Tom Bradys Patriots in the playoffs in Foxborough. It was the second straight shocking loss for the Patriots, and it ended a season that started with so much promise and hope behind a historically good defense.
The Titans rode the NFL rushing champion, Derrick Henry, to the win. His 178 yards on the ground were the most for a player in the playoffs since Colin Kaepernick had 181 as the San Francisco 49ers quarterback in 2013.
This home loss in the wild-card is uncharacteristic for the Patriots. It prompts questions about the continued viability of a dynasty that began in 2001. One of the main characters, Brady, is now a free agent, and though it seems unlikely, its possible one of the greatest quarterbacks ever has played his last game with the only franchise hes ever known.

Edelman was so clutch for so many years and so many big games. Eay better than Moss.
Right...Houston Texans vs. KC Chiefs (nes Dallas Texans)
Tennessee Titans (nes Houston Oilers) vs. Baltimore Ravens (nes Cleveland Browns, except the new Browns are the old Browns)
Freddie was a ring of honor type of Raider, but he was not even top 20 best of all time. People forget so many great players over the years. Lynn Swann was a Pittsburgh star, but he was not all time great either.
You got him confused with Steve Taneyhill, who played QB for South Carolina in the 90s.
The Pats lost to Miami last week. The only surprise is that they scored what they did.
Yep!
I made this prediction elsewhere:
1. Bill retires.
2. Josh gets moved up.
3. Brady stays IF they can get a long receiver.
Well see.
Whats 25 years give or take a month or two.....
Hopefully he will pass the pee in a cup test.
Edelman comes across as an arrogant, whiner, entitled snot. Glad this L is laid in his lap.
Stallworth made the tough catches. Swan was the prima dona.
One of the main characters, Brady, is now a free agent, and though it seems unlikely, its possible one of the greatest quarterbacks ever has played his last game with the only franchise hes ever known.
It's hard to believe he'll retire, or be permitted to slip away.
Mike Vrabel uses Bill Belichick’s own NFL rulebook loophole against him in Titans win over Patriots

Whoa!
I came to respect Brady and the Pats a few years ago. My family hates me for it, but I have had a lot of fun with it. I came to the conclusion about 5 games ago this is it for Brady. I have told the family that and that the next 4 years will be a beat down and revenge upon New England. I think Brady and Bellichick are both heading on to other things.
The lack of receivers and a tightend is what has limited the Pats. I think also defense can rush Brady or not rush Brady now and it won’t matter. All the energy is put into protecting Tom and not just into running offense at the high level.
Family poured it on on that final pic 6. I earned it I suppose. I still give Brady credit for what he has done all these years.
The thing I like is that for the first time in three years the Pats ARE NOT going to be directly involved in the Super Bowl.
There was something that the Ravens did in their win in early November on defense that other teams picked up. As far as I can tell the Pats for first time in a long time have trouble with handling pressure on Brady. Since that game, the Pats lost 4 games including today.
The well-timed exits of Peyton and Elway are rare.
Most hang around too long. I still half expect Vinnie Testaverde to suit up somewhere any day now.
Irrelevant. The Pats couldn't do a damn thing against the Titans all night, after their trick play TD with Edelman early on.
