My wife has decreed that we are going on an 8/16 intermittent fasting regime starting next week. I’m actually OK with that.

I can't do keto or Adkins....I need some carbs....I can't do Mediterranean, which was voted the best weight loss diet by some nutritionists a few days ago, because I like my meat....

the intermittent fasting ..I could do.....they say to start with moderation.....so maybe I'll try 12 hrs and then move slowly up to 14...

I've been doing 4/20 for a 18 months. Every few weeks I toss in a 0/24.

I was in shape, I'm in better shape. I was strong, I'm stronger. I had clarity of thought, my mind is sharper. I was good looking, hubba hubba.

Don't neglect balance training. For real.

As far as strength and health generally... unless you are gonna do it faithfully forever it's a waste, don't bother.
