A good friend of mine and his wife have spent every weekend for years at a nudist colony. For the life of me I can’t figure out what the attraction is. He keeps trying to get me and my wife to join them. My response is always, “What are you, effin nuts?!”

Yeah lol some people, like me, should be FORCED to wear clothes!

I remember being 18 and walking down a street and 2 girls yelled at me to take my shirt off.

Now they yell at me to keep it on! :)

But i’m more intelligent when it comes to women. i wait for them to make the first move.

I was born and raised in West Virginia. It has the dubious honor of having one of the most obese populations in the Republic. ‘Clothing optional’ would not be something I would care to see.

For people with skin allergies, shedding clothes can bring relief.

However, my guess is for most, its some form of voyeurism.

Why? Naturist (The correct name for nudists) are conservatives. Naturists are not what is stereotyped on television.

For info to to AARN.com or Naturistsociety.com. Naturists are your neighbors. They are your teachers, architect, small businesspeople, blue collar workers, actors (Carrol Spinney - Big Bird was one. He and his wife used host ice cream Sundae party every weekends at one of the oldest naturist resort in the USA), and mostly mom's and dads.

I’m currently 30 minutes from there. Trust me - you don’t wanna see anything from there running around nekkid in the woods. It could turn Sasquatch into a monk.

Hope they'll rebuild. One of my friends lives in a naturist resort (the biggest resort in the USA) nothing wrong with naturism.

We are naturist!! About 40% of naturists are conservative, 25% are libertarian...

Wondering if nudist colonies have separate male/female bathrooms? If so, why bother?

Excuse me, but in our county, Pasco, is the home of more Naturist Resorts/ Housing developments for Naturists than most states. Florida has most naturist resorts and tourism dollars are big. Open your mind, you think Naturists are swingers? Far from it...most are families!
