Legendary singer Meat Loaf has accused teenage climate-change activist Greta Thunberg of being "brainwashed," saying he believes there is no such thing as climate change.
"I feel for that Greta," he told U.K.'s Daily Mail. "She has been brainwashed into thinking that there is climate change and there isn't.
"She hasn't done anything wrong but she's been forced into thinking that what she is saying is true."
The rocker, who campaigned with Mitt Romney in 2012 and worked with Donald Trump on "The Apprentice" back in 2010, previously claimed that he lost a few gigs thanks to politics.
"I've been banned from two TV shows," he told Esquire in a 2012 interview. "Because USA Today has me listed as a Republican.
"I've heard those stories," he added "But I didn't really believe they'd do that."
The musician also said his political views were complicated. "I'm neither right nor left, and I'm not sure I'm even in the middle," he said. "I have a lot of views to the left, and I have a lot of views to the right, and that really doesn't put me in the middle. I don't know what that makes me. It makes me weird."
Thunberg has gained international media attention in recent months for her outspoken activism on climate change, including delivering an impassioned speech to the United Nations Climate Action Summit calling out world leaders for not responding to the climate crisis with more urgency.
President Trump, who has repeatedly voiced skepticism about climate change, shared video of Thunberg's speech on Twitter, and above it wrote, sarcastically, that "she seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!"
Now don’t be sad.
Meat head is not going to like what Meat Loaf just said.
Whats for dinner?
He’ll do anything for Thunburg, but he won’t do that.
Meatloaf knows more about the climate than a 16 yr old Mongolian Idiot.
Friggin awesome singer and “Bat Out Of Hell” is is now iconic.
Bat Out of Hell is one of the best-selling albums of all time, having sold over 43 million copies worldwide.
It is certified 14x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
As of June 2019, it has spent 522 weeks in the UK Albums Chart, the second longest chart run by a studio album.
Regarded as one of the most influential rock albums of all time, Bat Out of Hell’s songs have remained classic rock staples. Rolling Stone ranked it at number 343 on its list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
Nobody can beat the Meat.
A lot of FReepers supported Romney in 2012 too. We all make mistakes.
Well to be fair- He’s kinda like rosey odonnel in a sense- kinda whackadoodle- peopel got burned by rosie when she came out strong ‘conservative-like’ for awhiel there- and she went full nustso later-
That looks evil!
What a voice and he's got acting chops. And he was in Rocky Horror and it seems like he's a Trump supporter.
It’s a meathead meatloaf!
:)
You need to pick up the Jim Steinman album Bad For Good.
Meat was supposed to sing it but he had vocal chord issues and Jim took over the singing role.
It’s surprisingly good.
Meat sings the songs now, as well.
“Bad For Good” title track is excellent and Left In The Dark is gutting.

It is so nice that so many irrelevant people seem to think they need to be heard.
Copy editors save our buts.
“Hes kinda like rosey odonnel in a sense- kinda whackadoodle- peopel got burned by rosie when she came out strong conservative-like for awhiel there- and she went full nustso later-”
Nope, you’re thinking about Roseann barr, who is fairly conservative.
Rosey O’donuts has always been a flaming liberal puke.
Your observations are spot-on. Some people are born conservative, and some people become conservative over time(me), and some people remain leftists their whole lives. It’s best not to hold people’s pasts against them. After all, even Ronald Reagan was once a democrat.
LOL
