Ratings for National Football League games rose 5% in 2019, making it the most-watched season since 2016, the league said.

During the 2019 regular season, an average of 16.5 million people tuned in to watch NFL games, according to Nielsen data cited by the league.

This is the second straight season of viewership growth for the NFL, after it lost a chunk of viewers in 2017.

Well, it helps that we don’t have to watch the SJW dorks taking a knee!

I only started watching NFL football again this year, so I was gone for three years. And I will NOT watch any stupidity during Half Time at the Superbowl, with or without my Green Bay Packers.

Didn’t miss a College game, though I wish I had missed the Rose Bowl yesterday. :(

Badgers! Ya dopes!

Could it be not kneeling for the national anthem has opened the door for some fans to return? Maybe the dropping of the freak show drafts?

All I know is the media will never mention either of those being significant.

This MD house has no NFL in it, and no Ravens.

Houston and New England are the largest markets in the playoffs.

New Orleans, Baltimore and Green Bay are smaller markets and two of those small market teams will be in the Super Bowl.

However, for the Super Bowl, small markets do not decrease ratings.

The NFL always wins.

Wild coincidence, my wife is also! But we're far more obsessed with baseball and the STL Cardinals!

Your Badgers were robbed by that call in the 4th quarter, and it cost them the game.

Only hope the Oregon crew realized the ref handed ‘em a gift and that it’ll always tinge any memories when thinking back on their ‘win’.

Same here lots of college football. But the NFL, the team owners took a knee, some on foreign soil. They can go to hell, they made it clear where they stand and it’s not with America or law enforcement.

Houston and New England are the largest markets in the playoffs.

The Patriots only became a big regional draw after the Dynasty was formed. In the 70s-80s, even when Steve Grogan and Russ Francis led the teams, the Patriots were of negligible appeal outside of Boston, and were ranked AFTER the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and sometimes the BC Eagles for love in the Boston area. Much has changed.
