Explaining his bold prediction, Meyer pointed at the changes introduced to the way delegates are designated in the Democratic Party. He said the elimination of superdelegates and winner-take-all primary contests adds up to bad news for the former vice president, even though he now leads in national polls.
Meyer said in states where Biden is ahead he holds only small leads, meaning that candidates like Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren will also be picking up delegates there. He said once Warren or Sanders drop out of the race, their delegates will switch to support the other.
"If you look at Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, theyre right behind him in most of these states or beating him in [Iowa and New Hampshire]. So when you add up the two socialist candidates versus the one moderate candidate, they overtake him," Meyer said.
"And so as these delegates amass, youre going to see basically the left wing of the party is going to have more delegates at the end of the day. So when Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren drops out, those delegates will consolidate behind one candidate thats not Joe Biden, and that spells trouble for him.
"I think he's cooked," he concluded.

The chances of a brokered convention are rising in my view.
I may be showing my age, but I think we should start calling Biden “Aqualung” (eyeing up little girls and all that). It would be a great meme, and if it took hold, folks could show up at his rallies with fins and snorkels and such, and belt out the power-chord riff that defines the song.
Does this suggest a Bernie/Warren ticket? I can’t see either, least of all Bernie, going Veep, but nor can I see either finding enough clout by hitching to someone else to mount anything approaching effective.
Warren is on pace to place 4th in the first two states. If Warren loses NH she is probably done, especially if she finishes 4th in both IA and NH.
Warren or Sanders will be the nominee. They will get beaten by Trump like a rented mule in November.
Democrats might as well nominate Jeremy Corbyn.
The only way tRUmp will win in a landslide is if for some bizarre reason, sanders is the nominee.— #ImWithNancy 🇺🇸 (@ateacher97) December 30, 2019

Or Warren.
Or Mayor Pete for that matter.
And we can't discount the amount of election meddling by the Putin/Trump team.
It certainly worked for them in 2016.— Milan Paurich (@milanpaurich) December 30, 2019

Biden is the best theyve got but hes damaged goods.
His gaffes are going to be his undoing,
Two reasons:
1. Overall, the Progressive bloc is likely the biggest bloc in the Dem party. Right now the Progressive vote is split between Warren and Sanders. Eventually one of them will drop out and unify that block.
2. Eventually, it will dawn on people how vulnerable Joe is in the General Election. His and his son’s Ukraine involvement will not play well at all.
My $$ is still on Warren, who seems to have Obama’s support. The Dem establishment will find a way to sabotage both Sanders and Biden.
Looks like he’s “skimming the gravy” there too.
Brokered convention. Michael Obama will step in and save the day.
Lurleen Wallace.
What a load of malarkey! Where do ya get that stuff? Why no tin horn ward boss is gonna bump off old Joe off the ticket, get me? Listen mug, it’s a lead pipe cinch Old Joe is gonna be top dog, see? We’ll fix it so he goes straight to the top! Now blow!
All those high poll numbers.......maybe those polled said they were for Joe......as a joke?
I see he's still drawing massive crowds....cackle.
“once Warren or Sanders drop out of the race”
that’s a VERY BIG assumption ...
