The problem with this analysis is the assumption that Warren and Sanders will drop out. I think that they will last until the convention--as will Biden.

The chances of a brokered convention are rising in my view.

Does this suggest a Bernie/Warren ticket? I can’t see either, least of all Bernie, going Veep, but nor can I see either finding enough clout by hitching to someone else to mount anything approaching effective.

Warren or Sanders will be the nominee. They will get beaten by Trump like a rented mule in November.

Democrats might as well nominate Jeremy Corbyn.

Two reasons:

1. Overall, the Progressive bloc is likely the biggest bloc in the Dem party. Right now the Progressive vote is split between Warren and Sanders. Eventually one of them will drop out and unify that block.

2. Eventually, it will dawn on people how vulnerable Joe is in the General Election. His and his son’s Ukraine involvement will not play well at all.

My $$ is still on Warren, who seems to have Obama’s support. The Dem establishment will find a way to sabotage both Sanders and Biden.

Brokered convention. Michael Obama will step in and save the day.

“once Warren or Sanders drop out of the race”

that’s a VERY BIG assumption ...
