Hmmmmm.
Now a true journalist (or reporter as we called them back when they are somewhat believable) would pry to see the real reason this judge recused himself.
Oh, was he a Dorkbama judge or a qualified one?

Either he had skeletons in his closet or a gun to his head and said, no way.
Maybe they wanted him out to change to a preferred judge?

This is a state judge.
That said, this is going to be a long and ugly fight.

I don’t know much about how divorce court works, but I’d bet this case is going to be one that no judge or lawyer will ever forget.

Maybe the judge looked over the witness list and noticed a “friend” or two among the strippers and pole dancers?

By having the judge step down it allows for a significant delay in the case. Could simply be a delaying tactic to extend case eventually beyond the election.

Perhaps someone tried to make the judge an offer he couldn’t’t refuse.
Further perhaps, the judge would have none of it, reported it to proper authorities and now has to recuse from case.

As a judge from Arkansas, he knows all about Arkancide, and does not want to become a victim.
