When Obama gives up his energy hungry summer home, I will consider that the elites actually believe in man made climate change. Until then I will give up nothing myself. There are absolutely no signs that our elite leadership takes it seriously.

The other day on FR someone posted an article detailing a long list of Climate Crybaby Celebrities and the huge amount of living space (all airconditioned and heated) that each of them owns, multiple residences, along with mentions of boats, planes and star-studded climate crybaby events they all jet to around the world.
Anybody who believes any of this crap is so f*ing stupid it boggles the mind.

I’ll tell you... and it’s always been this way:
Every little leftist serf around the world secretly sees himself/herself as a member of the future elite. Each and every one of them sees himself/herself one day at or near the top of the heap (or at least in a high-powered mid-level job) giving orders to all the peons, all the serfs, all the nobodies who DON’T make it to the top of the heap.
Every single one of them has visions of personal leftist-power grandeur. I’m absolutely sure of that.

Famed Dutch economist, Bjorn Lomborg, has said in the past that if all of the wealth in the entire world was confiscated to spend just on climate change, it would not make but a speck of difference in climate change. It is a futile effort.
He illustrates how futile it is for individuals doing anything will make a difference in climate change. There are hundreds of global problems that should be addressed before climate change because they can actually be solved and make a real difference peoples' lives in the world. Going all-in on climate change will not make a difference in our lives except to take us back to the Stone Age and even then, we'll still have climate change.
This short piece by Lomborg at the link below explains how climate change efforts are wasted by people who mean well but are not in control of the facts of the consequences of their actions.
Jane Fonda is pointing the way, downsizing her mansion and cutting down her orders of expensive clothes. Unfortunately she has to fly to widespread protest destinations, but that carbon expenditure is for the greater good.
Obama may take a bit longer.

I actually don’t mind that these end of the world climate crisis freaks have large homes, travel a lot and use enormous amounts of energy. Good for them. By pointing out their huge energy use, we are accepting the premise that a “large carbon footprint” is a bad thing. Co2 is not a pollutant! Yes, we should always be trying to find cleaner ways of reducing particulate matter in the environment. But trying to reduce worldwide Co2 emissions is a ridiculous exercise in futility. It just doesn’t matter if mankind raises the Co2 level .00002 in the atmosphere in the next 100 years. In fact, it is beneficial and has many benefits.
What we should be focusing on is their constant lies and propaganda that we all are going to die unless we radically change our lifestyles and dramatically increase our taxes. None of their alarmist climate predictions in the last 60 years have come true. None. We should be laughing at and making fun of their many past dire climate predictions and asking them why they never come true. Ridicule of these false prophets should be constant and unrelenting.

When I point out their huge energy-guzzling homes, I’m not decrying their so-called carbon footprint, which as you say is a total non-issue. I’m pointing out that in their heart-of-hearts they agree with us, that so-called carbon footprint is a total non-issue. They are voting with their feet (in a manner of speaking) and they are voting their agreement with US.
