Philadelphia’s new police commissioner is aware of what she represents in being the first black woman named to head the force.
But she said she was also the first black woman to do the last job she held, and for a long time, “it was a distraction.”
“I’ve been a black woman all my life, and I’ve chosen the career of law enforcement," said Danielle Outlaw, the Portland, Ore., police chief named Monday to lead the Philadelphia Police Department. She added: “I do not take lightly the fact that I am the first here … I understand who opened doors for me to be in this position, and I understand it’s also my obligation to help people [come up] behind me to ensure we’re not in 2020 still talking about firsts.”

I admit that this is the first I’ve ever heard of this woman. I still think giving folks a fair chance until they mess up (which this woman has) is the best way to go. Innocent until proven guilty if you will.
It 95% means she’s a democrat/socialist. I’ll go with those odds.
She’s not objective. Look at her history.
I think we’d all be better off once we realize that this will never happen because these liberal people regardless of color can’t or won’t change their social justice ideology.
This social justice, I’m a victim of something and proud of it, my child is right, chidrens voice, etc, is everywhere: in our schools, parenting, etc.
Our affluent, “white” areas are seeing this now too.
It’s mostly the Left’s fault but a whole lot of people on the Right adhere to same ideology.
He is part of the reason the City is where it is now. A democrat through and through. A corrupt man. He loved his city, I’ll give him that, but he was a corrupt man, cop, mayor and his brother was worse.

She was the good guy, at least compared to the mayor.
