I read all those posts already, and understood them. Technically, the next decade begins at the end of this year, so that’s only a year off.

And it’s not just semantics. Bitt said 9 decades. That would make hubby at least 90. And that’s a far cry from age 78. And 8 decades is very different than 9...10 years different at least.

DURING, not FOR.

I play this same game. Since I was born in 1959, I say I was alive during (now) 8 different decades.

50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s, 20s = 8 decades.

And, since 59, I'm among the youngest one in that elite pool.

Now we can stop with all the mathematical posts on this topic.
