A transgender man has given birth to a baby after being impregnated by a transgender doctor using the sperm of a transgender woman.
Reuben Sharpe, 39, transitioned to a man 12 years ago, but six years later he stopped taking testosterone injections to increase the chances of getting pregnant.
Mr Sharpe and his non-binary partner Jay, who does not identify as either a man or a woman, welcomed the birth of baby Jamie three months ago.
Mr Sharpe went through endless tests but got his first break when he began having a period for the first time in six years.
He told the Sunday Mirror: 'It’s taken six years to get this far, but now we have a baby in our arms and that was the end goal. I finally feel complete.
'It wasn’t that I was desperate to have the birthing experience or pregnancy experience, but I wanted a child and I had the facility to do it.
'Both of our families love kids. I was so glad my family were as excited about our baby as they were their other grandkids.'
The baby, Jamie, was three weeks overdue and delivered via a c-section.
Ahead of the process, Mr Sharpe was told he would still be able to get pregnant as his womb and ovaries were still operational.
Mr Sharpe from Brighton met his 28-year-old partner Jay in a pub.
When he considered getting pregnant he approached his partner and asked how Jay would feel about rearing a child.
He said if Jay wasn't interested in becoming a parent the couple would be forced to split up.
A doctor inserted sperm directly into Mr Sharpe's womb allowing him to become pregnant.
He said he received the vital donation from a trans woman who was able to supply the sperm

A woman had a baby. A man was the father. Everything else is just static.
Transgenderism is trash, but the leftists are pushing it hard around the world, and I think we need to push back. As I noted in my comment, leading Democratic candidates want to us to pay for this trash. The story was posted in the General/Chat “Weird Stuff” category.

Closing the insane asylums was a terrible mistake.
Any statistics as to how these kinds of things end in the long run? For some reason I can’t see any happy endings for the off spring. The media will exploit and exaggerate the rare few that may stand out, but hide the many that sadly end tragically.(Includes the XY parents). I think it is hitting home in all families today, some where along the family lines there is a connection.

It would be better every one in this story have millstone placed around their neck and toss them into a deep river, than to let’s that kid spend one more minute with those parents.

These people should have been arrested and sent to a mental institution. This is war on the Cosmos, the form of the Universe, and it’s Creator. It must be resisted, and defeated. If that hurts somebody’s feelings let me quote from “Gone With the Wind”: “sorry my dear, I don’t give a damn.”
Oh, maybe not. In a saner time, two women who wanted to live together would pretty much have been ignored. “You get more of what you subsidize,” and today, the looniest ‘toons are rewarded with attention and money.
Who paid for the artificial reproduction for this woman? That stuff isn’t cheap.
If you don't like the story, don't comment on it. That's what I do with threads that don't interest me. But to say it doesn't "belong here" seems to ignore the growing "transing" of society that is very much a current event that impacts conservatism.
I've never understood why people get so butthurt over threads they don't think belong here. Me? I'm happy when anything new gets posted. In case you haven't noticed, this place ain't what it used to be.
So, one child will lead an unfortunate and deeply screwed up life.
Other than that, why should I care?
Men dressing as women and women dressing as men. It has been going on since Day 1.
