Salon, like many websites, is engaged in a sort of clickbait war. They push ever more absurd stories, not because they believe them, but they think if they’re outrageous enough it will drive traffic to the website. It results in ever more absurd stories being pushed, all desperate for attention.

Most of them are done on the cheap with unknown actors and filmed in Canada. All that snow fits in quite well as well. They are well disguised but those with sharp eyes can spot the tell tale signs of a great white north production.
Hallmark Christmas movies represent normality. There was a time when most people thought and acted like the people in the movies. Leftists can’t stand normality.
They are not propaganda. But they are tepid, schmaltzy and boring as hell.
