Male privilege is a concept in radical feminism that claims that men have greater access to social, economic, and political advantages or rights based on their sex.
Mark Perry, a scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, destroys the myth of male privilege in a freshly updated chart titled: "For Every 100 Girls/Women..."
According to Perry, the data in the table show that based on a large number of measures, "boys and men are faring much worse than girls and women." Perry explains, "Despite the fact that boys and men are at so much greater risk than girls and women on so many different measures, those significant gender disparities that disproportionately and adversely affect men get almost no attention." He added, "Its girls and women who get a disproportionate amount of attention, resources, and financial support."
He cited as examples the wide availability of women's centers and commissions on college campuses, and the lack of men's equivalents; the disproportionately high number of women-only scholarships, fellowships, awards and initiatives for female students and faculty; girls-only STEM programs and organizations, many of which, interestingly enough, are being challenged for violating Title IX.
The chart itself is quite fascinating, did you know that for every 100 girls/women who take AP/Honors courses in art and music, there are only 54 boys/men? For every 100 girls/women who earn an associate's degree, there are only 63 boys/men who accomplish the same feat. There are only 73 boys/men enrolled in a U.S. graduate school or who have earned at least a master's degree (between the ages of 25-29) for every 100 girls/women. For a doctor's degree, it's 90 boys/men for every hundred girls/women.

In my family and the ones I know, the women all have better educations and better jobs than their male counterpoints whether brothers or husband’s.
Not really
Neighbors have three kids. Both parents are college educated professionals married 45 years. As for the kids; oldest, guy, married, colleges educated has never held a job for more than a few years, wife is a well paid respiratory therapist; second child, female, married with two kids, college educated, partner at one of the largest law firms in Indianapolis; youngest, guy, married, college educated, works as a substitute teacher and a gig musician. Just one family, but fits the chart.
More women are taking Physics and Math than men are. But, the women aren't becoming Physicists and Mathematicians as frequently as men. This is likely true for other areas, too.
The bottom third or more has a large racial variation for white and black men.
A lot of areas are totally left off this chart, too.
This paper assesses gender disparities in federal criminal cases. It finds large gender gaps favoring women throughout the sentence length distribution (averaging over 60%), conditional on arrest offense, criminal history, and other pre-charge observables. Female arrestees are also significantly likelier to avoid charges and convictions entirely, and twice as likely to avoid incarceration if convicted.

Mommies get let go a lot, it seems.
All good points in your #15.
Why did the men of the Greatest Generation walk the straight and narrow without being very religious. By being on that path they avoided many pitfalls of later generations. I will hazard a guess. To please their religious mothers. They werent that religious themselves but their mothers left indelible standards they held to their whole lives.
Shes absolutely shunned by other feminists now, a sister gone bad (she took the red pill, too).
See post 45.
“I thought it said males are farting much worse than females”
me too .. i had to do a double take before i read it right ...
Heres a woman judge, just plead guilty to perjury (15 year crime), with evidence tampering and misconduct charges dropped (likely plea deal), and her sentencing guideline is 0-6 months.
A JUDGE, plead guilty to PERJURY, may get ZERO time. WTF???
Good observation. I hope that’s true for my family, too!
That's all very well, but I'm not running a school system or a university, and I assume you aren't either. If people don't like outcomes such as the very large percentage of children (disproportionately male) who are identified as "disabled" and medicated, then they should do something about it or stop complaining.
“The Left has officially rejected concepts like Truth and Objective Reality. They embrace Fantasy and build their worldview around it.”
And hate. Entitlement. Evil. Totalitarianism.
Complaining is how thoughts are validated and shared. It is often a necessary precursor to action and change.
And don’t go thinking the system can be changed by simply going to work in the field: you will conform or be spat right back out again.
Those are good points. It’s true that systems are very resistant to change. That’s why I’ve suggested identifying a single area in which one could do good for someone and a single individual for whom one could do it.
The easiest place to start is your own family. I’ve been homeschooling for almost 25 years. None of my sons (or daughters) has attended a school until they start community college at 16 or 17.
L8R.
It would “fit the chart” if the men were in jail, murdered, or working in dangerous occupations. (Well, substitute teacher can be pretty rough.) The chart doesn’t have a line for “married and doing pretty well by our own standards, thanks.”
Brava to you. Not only did your kids no doubt benefit, but the success of the homeschool movement overall has helped to expose the rot that is public aeducation today.
The industrial schooling model is working out badly for many inmates, but worse for boys than for girls. They didn’t have to fudge the numbers with stuff like “AP/Honors courses” to make that point.
In my opinion, a key failure point was when the purpose shifted from producing reasonably competent and compliant laborers/soldiers to warehousing a large part of the potential labor force.
We could go on and on about the reasons, but the basic premise has been clear for my entire lifetime. When is it going to be time to stop griping and shut the whole thing down?
