When getting aid to start businesses, women have a much easier time getting financial aid to help them. I suspect the same goes for college: “Female students can find financial aid opportunities that are completely exclusive to them”
And I’d bet most colleges now days create policies that benefit women over men.
As far as men prone to crime: Take the crime out of the equation for Detroit, Chicago, DC, Baltimore and a few others, I’ll bet that “prone to crime” factor disappears.

Really? I don’t know anybody like that. I probably wouldn’t want to know anybody like that.
It would be interesting to see a chart just for white boys/men and white girls/women. I expect the differences would be far less.
Even more interesting would be to see comparable stats on males vs. females, regardless of race, when both came from families in which they lived with their biological mother and father until adulthood.
Break it out by family income, too ... why not?
If the intention of the author is to help boys and men, I’m sure he would agree that it would be super helpful to be able to target help toward the individuals who really need it, so the more precisely we can identify the individuals statistically inclined toward to the worst outcomes, the better.

Case in point Finland.

It's the males (most of them less than 21 years old) who stormed the beaches of Normandy to free the world of naziism and the beaches of Guadal Canal and Okinawa to free the world from the horrors of the Japanese Empire. (Look up the rape of Nanking and the Bataan death march if they didn't teach you about the Japanese Empire in school.).
Males have all the parameters of an oppressed minority, including lower life expectancy, higher morbidity in almost al diseases, higher rates of suicide, alcoholism, drug addiction, and incarceration.
Males are an oppressed minority. (There are more females than males.)
This was brought home to me clearly when I tried to set up trusts for my daughter and my son. Males are far more vulnerable in court and far more difficult to protect than are females.
Oh, and don’t forget the court cases in which it was proven that the man was not the father of the child but he was forced to pay child support anyway. How’s that for a miscarriage of justice!
You missed the point altogether! Activism is the enemy that caused the imbalance by preferring one SEX over the other.
(Living things have a SEX, LANGUAGE has genders, usually male, female and neuter)

Stop with the social engineering and let boys be boys, girls be themselves, and reality will return the sanity we once had.
I agree with the family support element being very important. The fact that 70 some percent of blacks are born to single mothers is deadly for two parent development of children. The black family has been decimated by the welfare state.
Doubt those statistics are easy to get though.
