The sexy Clifton mannequins are back, this time with a Christmas flair
The man claims it is a spoof on the “Santa and commercializtion of Christmas”, and part of me finds the display humorous.
But if Santa and the commercialization of Christmas is bad, then what he is doing is just simply trashing Christmas.
30 years ago you would have had zero idea that this display existed in New Jersey, unless you lived on this guy’s street.
No newspaper would waste ink/reporters time on this.
Since social media now runs the news cycle and a doofus display like this can get 10,000 hits on any social media platform in hours, this stuff happens because it gets the creator a TON of attention. Just like school/mass shooters, fake hate crimes, etc.
You got fell for it and allowed yourself to get trolled.
That all the creator was doing, trolling people who would get upset by it.

You only know about because of social media, 30 years ago, you would have had zero clue about this display. It wouldn’t have mattered, sure a couple uptight nancys would get their knickers in knot, but besides that, nobody outside the local community would have known.

I think people read way too much into things these days. This stupid display isn’t a societal issue as much as it is some local yokal getting a ton of attention over something so stupid that nobody should really care about.
And all the attention we give this guy, just encourages him to do it again next year, or encourage copy cats.
Fools in 2008 were spouting, ‘Let the Obama be president, he can’t do that much damage that it cannot be fixed.’
I wasn’t happy that he won, but he did win. And Trump is fixing everything he messed up right now.

a ton of crap and nonsense was put into law over the past 100 years that actually counter acts the Constitution. I am more focused on that, then some attention getter and his stupid front yard display, and honestly, those mannequins could be seen at any department store in those type of outfits.
I tend to not read into things, especially anything from far left field.

There was a great meme posted today against the SUDDEN and COORDINATED drive to try and say that Evangelicals should dump Trump. Seeing that they can't drive his approval down among blacks, Latinos, and the Independent voter, the new drive, across many "news" organizations is to begin to try and whine that evangelical Christians are somehow "bad Christians" if they back Trump. It is coordinated, talking-point propaganda. The meme noted that Christians KNOW what Trump is... and they also can clearly see that those who oppose him are FAR WORSE. Apparently, we are supposed to flagellate ourselves because we side with a man, who although flawed (like all of us) is clearly NOT PERSECUTING US the way Democrats have for decades.
You want to IMPRESS ME, Liberals? Let's see you stand up and defend Christianity against THIS. Because, clearly, you never give a crap about the Bible... unless it is to take TINY quotes of it out of context to may uninformed Christians think you are somehow Godly.
