It’s all they will have left. They will try. They will fail. Be prepared.

I don't always comment, but when I do I vote early and often

Virginia is a test case for turning a Reddish state Blue

The first step was electing a "moderate" "electable" Dem Governor to be all about 'voting rights'

Second step is passing subtle measures to liberalize voting

- convicted felons can vote (note Trump lost VA by 30k AFTER gov gave 50k felons voting rights... coincidence? nah)

-looser enforcement of voting id

-mail in canvasing (gran and gramps were Dems! who knew?)

Third Step and voila you have a Dem legislature! to go with that Dem Gov!

If you watch local politics THIS IS THE WAY of the Mandolorean Dems.

Colorado, New Mexico both fell for this tactic

now Virginia has gone Dem (well kinda)

I'm skeptical about a southern state going the way mountain states did, Virginia is a big state with large population centers outside of DC. So who knows

Just watch for 2020 2022 and beyond to see a lot of very "Moderate" very "Electable" Democrat Governor candidates in Republican states that will try the same thing.

Georgia and Florida will be prime targets
