I stopped believing in the Tooth Fairy years ago. Since MURDERED was in all caps, and it’s on the internet, it must be true. Or not.
His neck was broken. He was partially paralyzed.
After a few days, a Scottish surgeon saw him and had hooks installed in his cheek bones which were weighted. After a couple of days his spine was back to straight but he caught pneumonia.
That's what happened to Epstein. LOL
That I agree with
“i guess the other two passengers riding with Patton were just lucky as hell not to get a scratch”
Patton was sitting on the edge of his seat and looking out. Next to him was General Gay. Gay and Woodring, the driver, both braced for the crash. Patton had no time to brace after Gen. Gay said “Hang tight”.
Gay did have some bruises.
He had no pull when the war ended. Payback only. That is if he were murdered.
Misfud did not kill himself either!
He was not capable of “offing” himself.
He was going to resign if he didn’t get a job such as head of the Army War College, and write a tell all book.
But just as they began to make arrangements to send Patton home, he took a turn for the worse. Thirty minutes after Ann left the hospital to procure lunch on December 21, 1945, General Patton suffered a massive pulmonary embolism.
...
Being bedridden for days because of paralysis can make a person at risk for clots. I don’t think they used blood thinners at that time either.
Pattons new driver was reckless and drove fast.
...
The article makes it clear that his driver had nothing to do with the accident and it was fairly low speed. Nobody else was injured.
I read a detailed account of the accident many years ago so I am going on old memory. I do recall that it was a low speed accident but I think his driver was being reckless.
Patton asked that he not be held accountable.
One day a report came through his section that Patton had been murdered because he was digging into thefts of the Reischbank gold in which high ranking US Army officers were implicated. Patton was seen as expendable because he was in ill favor with his superiors and Soviet friendly politicians in Washington.
Notably, the theft of the Reischbank gold remains officially unsolved, but key records are said to have been destroyed, lost, or to remain classified. Yet it seems to have been an inside job, with considerable sums of foreign currency and gold going missing after entering US Army custody.
The article goes into details.
Heresay. Declare yourself a whistleblower and contact Adam Schiff. He can turn it into a screenplay, it could be a big hit and you might make some good money.

Its already been done:

I just read the part of the article about the accident. It is definitely different than what I read many years ago.
There was a heavy truck involved, I remember that but also an intersection.
He was recovering under the treatment of the doctors in Germany. They had to fly in medical experts from the US to get the job done.
