... found this movie wrenching... Now dead from a heart attack at age 44, Richard Jewell was a simple, honest, kind and hard-working man. The kind of American nobody notices, but each of us counts on. And the System all but destroyed him. Director Clint Eastwood and an excellent cast make his (literal) tragedy come to life. When the FBI tricked him into falsely incriminating himself, I couldn’t help but think of General Flynn. When it raided Jewell’s home and confiscated his weeping mother’s panties, I remembered the dawn SWAT raid on Paul Manafort’s home. And the spies, spooks, and liars who tried to crush Carter Page, George Papadopoulous, and Mike Flynn...
It was a great movie and what they tried to do to Jewelm was disgusting.
However what thay are trying to do to President Trump and the Country is far worse.
Saw it a few days ago. The FBI and the Atlanta Journal Constitution really came off poorly and the FBI is much more interested in hanging somebody rather than finding the real bomber. To watch what they did to RJ was both very sad and maddening.
The movie is not doing well at the box office and I have seen very few commercials for it. The Left is very happy that a Clint Eastwood film is not doing well. If you haven’t seen it, go soon; it will probably not be out much longer.
Watched it the other day with some free movie tickets. Course the corn and soda wasn’t cheap. LOL! Yeah it was pretty disgusting what the media and the fbi did. Years before the latest phase of BS 101.
I wouldn’t give the FBI the time of day.
I saw the movie. I didn’t expect much. It was a great movie I donot think I was ever more engaged in any movie. I strongly recommend people to see it.
And nobody holds them accountable.
Do you think the Democrats enjoyed impeaching Trump? They hated pulling these divisive tactics but knew in the long run it was the best thing for the country. It was a very somber time for all of them, especially Pelosi who was praying to Lucifer the whole time that it would never go that far. Schiff certainly wasn’t happy about it. You could see it in his big staring bug eyes.

I would be willing to pee on them if they were on fire, though.
I’m going to see it tonight. One of the best reviews said that the tragic moment in the film is when the naïve Jewell suddenly realizes that the FBI - which he had idealized all his life - weren’t the good guys.
I’m going Sunday. Did they ever find out who actually did it. I remember this story but not the resolution.

Eric Robert Rudolph did it. He was the guy from North Carolina who hid in the mountains for several years.
