Supposedly not, but that process doesn't negate the vote where the President was impeached. They don't have any impeachment managers either for the 'trial'. It is done, it would take an Act by the House to reverse the finding. President Trump has to go in with Billy Jeff and Johnson. It is a fact.

Nope not really, has it.
Besides that, it will not stand, weak and corrupt.

Just so we’re all clear, impeachment is mentioned 6 times in the Constitution.

Article 1 Section 2 Clause 5
House has the power to impeach

Article 1 Section 3 Clause 6
Senate tries impeachment

Article 1 Section 3 Clause 7
Judgment in Cases of impeachment just means removal from office

Article 2 Section 2 Clause 1
President has Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.

Article 2 Section 4
The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Article 3 Section 2 Clause 3
Trial by jury except in cases of impeachment

The definition of impeachment I think we can agree as follows - a formal accusation of wrongdoing. I believe what the real question in everyone’s mind is the definition of “formal”.
