Can anyone here educate me about being suspended? I was had a 24 hour suspension until 18:35 on 12/18, but it only got lifted this afternoon. Almost 3 full days.
The reason was “spamming”.
I looked all over the FR website for some explanation of “spamming” but all I could find was this: “Please do not post advertising, solicitations, spam or any other commercial messages. Do not spam us with links to your own site. No one likes spam.”
As far as I know, I have never posted ads, or any other commercial messages. I’ve definitely not posted any links to a personal website.
So I would be REALLY CURIOUS about why I got suspended. Also why a 24 hour suspension lasted nearly 3 times as long.
Any edification would be really appreciated. Thanks.

Never seen you spam ever. Would guess it was a grab a category that had no connection at all between supposed offense and desired punishment. They must not have a category called “Catch All.”

I didn’t see anything that looked like ‘solicitations’, which is what they got me for when I posted a link to the DJT site when they were having a 76% off sale... and I was just warned that time..
Who posted the list of Reps we were calling emailing about impeachment? Was THAT solicitation?

Did you make identical posts on multiple threads? That could do it on some forums. It’s called cross posting, I think.
