And as someone (maybe you!) pointed out on another thread, a demented House Speaker meddling in Senate affairs might be the one thing that pisses off even the biggest Trump-haters in the Senate enough to acquit him in a two-minute trial.
Yeah, I think there a lot of Senators that don’t want to be dragged in as pawns in the battle between Pelosi and Trump. Once again, Democrats overplayed their hand.
