BATTLE CREEK, Mich. The City of Battle Creek announced details about President Trump and Vice President Pence's upcoming visit on Wednesday, Dec. 18. They will hold a "Merry Christmas" rally at the Kellogg Arena starting at 7 p.m.
City officials said in a press release that they "anticipate a larger crowd than the arena's capacity." So there will be a designated overflow area outside at the Festival Market Square.
The president and vice president's visit Wednesday will cause road and business closures around the city for the day, public transit detours, and may also cause an overflow of people coming to the area, which the city is preparing for through designated parking areas.

That’s so great. Be sure to give one to that ‘questionable’ second cousin!
DC made it almost impossible to get to the mall forTrumps inauguration in2017. Ive been to every inauguration since Carter and it was never that difficult.
The entire event will be a highlight.
I had an invite to go, I’d be a crack of dawn to a stay over rather than drive back event solo vs going w/ some friends w/out the stay over on top of my back being jacked & in need of the chiropractor. Too much, as well as special work event, which I could have side stepped. I’ll have watch on RSBN, my guess is his biggest crowd evah, as folks come from OH, IN & IL as well as MI. I hope the overflow crowd & it’s true size gets back to the deep state & it scares the **it out if them...
Gonna be cold up there. High for tomorrow predicted at 21 degrees.
Battle Creek. Hard to imagine a more appropriate name for a venue at this time.
The cereal capital of the world. Last I knew, Kellogg’s, Post and General Mills all had factories there. But that was a long time ago. I don’t know if that’s still the case.
Is Battle Creek a city that has had a tremendous improvement in their economy as a result of Trumps policies? Much of Michigan has.
I thought that the above paragraph would end with something about how intrusive the Trump event would be. Instead, it says ... in case they want to attend the event. Nice.
Awesome paper!
Don’t know. Some tribe opened a casino near there a few years ago, but I’m not sure that’s the kind of business a self-respecting town wants. I’m glad a similar application for a casino in my Michigan city was rejected, even though a contractor with whom I did a lot of work is a builder plus part “Native American.” He wanted the work. Can’t say I blame him, but it would have been right downtown...near the biggest eyesore there already, a strip joint. Which just happens to be next door to the classiest restaurant in town. We need better zoning laws, methinks.
If there’s anything to tout about improved business climate in Battle Creek, Trump will likely tout it at his rally tomorrow night.
BTW, tomorrow night is also when Martha McCallum will air her interview with AG Bill Barr. I suspect FNC will prioritize Barr over the Trump rally. Maybe not, we’ll see.
