Berlin police are trying to find out who opened the unmarked grave of SS officer Reinhard Heydrich, a top Nazi killed by Czechoslovak agents in 1942.
An employee at the Invalids' Cemetery in central Berlin found on Thursday that the grave had been opened.
No bones were removed, police say.
Heydrich was a key organiser of Nazi Germany's mass murder of European Jews. He chaired the Wannsee Conference in January 1942, where Hitler's genocidal "Final Solution" was planned.
Tampering with a grave can be prosecuted under a German law against "grave defilement".

No, that'd be in San Fran. (graphic photo...in a *grocery store*)
Yes, the Czech village of Lidice. Mass murder atrocity. Claus Barbie had a hand in it.
I guess we can dig it.
Dextromethorphan is the best (legal) thing for continuous coffin.
In any case, I was wondering how grave the grave has to be defiled in order for the defiling to rise to the level of grave defilement.
8. Give Schiff time!! He’s a perpetual psychopath!
Heydrich was about to expose Admiral Canaris
The German english subtitles is pretty good, and has some added minutiae and way of presenting it that fills in some gaps.
The Wansee Minutes, as edited and distributed by Adolf Eichmann himself, were discovered by Robert Kempner, a German prosecutor working with the US at the Nuremberg Trials. He found the one copy of the “minutes” (protocol in German) in the files of Martin Luther Under Secretary in the Foreign Office, who attended. Found them in a pile of files in the Foreign Office. A person or group being “evacuated to the East” was a euphemism for mass execution by work or gassing.
Richard Branagh and the entire cast was well contracted. He was fantastically cold blooded, directed fury in the meeting, cold sadistic, and “artsy” just like Heydrich. Keep in mind Himmler took over, and Eichmann was his right had man. The Wansee Protocols and Kempner were used in evidence at Eichmann’s trial in Israel (another good film on that trial and the young lawyer who prosecuted him. Great focus on the liberals who were against trying him— imagine! They of course were the same as today, anti Israel, commies really).
Two other films would recommend, actually three:
“Stalin”— free on you tub... Robert Duvall IS Stalin. The reality of Lenin’s worker’s Paradise.
“Death of Stalin”— Steve Buscemi as Kruschyev... hilarious,
and the trial of Beria, a pig of a monster.
“Red Monarch”-— another black comedy. This and Death of Stalin both banned in Russia. Red Monarch is harder to find. Colin Blakely as Stalin, David Suchet as the simpering sniveling pervert Beria.
Put his bones in a freak show, or throw them in the ocean.
I prefer to call them demoncrats.

If he had become Fuhrer, he'd have probably not been as hard-headed about stupid strategic moves like Hitler. He'd have probably let the Generals run the war and probably hold off murdering the Jews until he had plenty of Slavs to do it for him.
It was his own arrogance that killed him. Ne never varied his route to and from work each day, he always drove in an open car, had few bodyguards, and thought nobody could touch him.
One of the reasons he was cruel and brutal, was the rumors his enemies spread about him, that he was part-Jewish. To prove himself a "true Aryan", he was more brutal than the normal Nazi.
Yes, I believe that Canaris doubled the operation to hire the Czech resistance guys to kill Heydrich-— to protect his doubled operations with the Allies. Eventually, though, after the July 20 plot to kill Hitler, Canaris was “assumed” to be involved. Himmler had abolished the German Intel the Abwehr in February 1944, and the July 1944 Plot was said to have had Canaris’ moral blessing. He was killed in Flossenberg special concentration camp at the very end of the Reich.
Flossenberg, on its own is a long list of some of the special anti Hitler elites, including some royals and opposition leaders were all killed. Canaris’ death was followed by theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
Hitler called him the man with the iron heart, some **** as that, and I think he officiated at the funeral. Heydrich was very flat-affect, creeped out his boss Himmler, who preferred to duck out of meetings with him. Good thing all the way around that he had a short career.
The Boys from Brazil?
Ah, there's the nickname... my memory works great sometimes. He was shot in an open car, as you noted, seriously (indeed, fatally) wounded, and the attackers had fled. The locals refused to help him, and he did ask. That detail is probably what sent Der Effer to the boiling point. Everyone in the town was killed, and I think the whole place was burned down. The commandos were trained by the British, having been smuggled out and smuggled back for the attack.
Former head of Interpol.
Don’t ask which of the FBI Coup plotters had/has ties to Interpol.
This guy was the absolute WORST of the WORST. IIRC he was the architect of the Final Solution. In many ways he was WORSE than Hitler.

"Hitler ordered brutal reprisals. Beginning on 10 June, all males over the age of 16 in the villages of Lidice and Leáky were murdered. All the women in Leáky were also murdered.
All but four of the women from Lidice were deported immediately to Ravensbrück concentration camp (four were pregnant they were subjected to forced abortions at the same hospital where Heydrich had died and the women were then sent to the concentration camp).
Some children were chosen for Germanization, and 81 were killed in gas vans at the Chełmno extermination camp. Both towns were burned and Lidice's ruins were levelled. Overall, at least 1,300 Czechs, including 200 women, were killed in reprisal for Heydrich's assassination." wiki
Mygawd he’s Schiff with BEADY eyes. The stuff of freakin’ NIGHTMARES
Operation Daybreak, good movie about the assassination. Another good movie to get the essence of how cold he was was Conspiracy, or even better, the German production Die Wannseekonferenz.
Hitler loved Heydrich, but he made a lot of enemies within the party, and they did not shed a tear when he was assassinated.
