This “Trump Tower meeting” was always irrefutable proof there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. If Russia was secretly feeding the Trump campaign info, why the hell would they need to have this meeting out in the open?

Yes, and Trump was in favor of more defense spending and more energy production in the USA. Both of those items go away (as much as possible) with Hillary.
Trump also threatened Putin directly later when he said he would make up any shortages in European countries caused by Putin trying to mess with them.
