Thomas Callaway, a 43-year-old youth minister (Pittman Park United Methodist Church) from Statesboro, GA was charged Friday with sexual battery, a misdemeanor, in Chatham County, records show. “The conduct displayed toward Alex Bozarjian during her live coverage of Saturday’s Savannah Bridge Run was reprehensible and completely unacceptable,” the Savannah television station the employs Bozarjian said after the arrest.
Bozarjian told police the man had slapped and then grabbed her buttocks, the Associated Press reported.

A drive-by slap on the ass, while inappropriate is certainly no criminal offense.
And as the video shows, he did not return to fondle her butt.
Ass slapping and grabbing is a popular topic here.
When I was 16 a new girl moved into our community. She was a next door neighbor. In the country, that is a mile away. She was the prettiest thing I had ever seen.
She later won the Miss Walton County contest.
One day we picked her and her Brother up. They were the last ones on our bus route. She let her little Brother take the last seat and was standing in front of me.
She was wearing yellow Capri Pants which were popular back then. Suddenly I got the strongest urge to grab onto that beautiful derriere. I could almost feel my hands moving.
Of course I never did but I can still remember that image.
I have seen her pictures and I would totally hit that ...
What this man did is a shame and not a very good witness for the cause of Christ.
I think we all agree he should not have done that, but now the question is, is this incident really a criminal offense?
Sounds like this poor yute minister was under attack by the minions of Satan. He was fighting back and her (the reporter’s) fanny got in the line of fire.

Yes, a slap on the butt by a stranger is criminal.
When I was a young woman, I occasionally encountered men who felt free to help themselves to a piece of me. Perhaps only half a dozen times over the years, but it is infuriating, humiliating, and frightening, and the effects are not limited to one second of contact.
The whole time one is in public, one is on edge and on guard.
Curious. It takes YEARS to arrest someone for coup conspiracy but it takes days to arrest a guy for being rude.
IMHO she was inserting herself into the race by standing where she did so close to the runners. Others were waving and mugging for the camera. This guy went further than maybe he should have. The look on her face was hilarious!!! Now by pressing charges makes her nothing more than a leftist PITA and not a real journalist...as if she was one to begin with

Not really seeing the resemblance myself. Both white males at approximately 43 years of age, bu that is about where it ends. Perhaps you just see all white males as looking the same. 8>)

Guy is a lay minister his full time job is as a snuff salesman for the Swedish company Snus. And has been for the past 12 years . Hard to see the snuff crowd getting upset over a guy smacking a woman on the butt. Probably get promoted.
Used to be commonplace and is/was completely wrong.
E.g., secretaries had to put up with it in the office all the time. Would have lost their jobs for complaining.
