Unsolved from Obama era: Court finally to probe Democrats' IT scandal (Imran Awan & Wasserman Schultz)

A court hearing has been scheduled for Friday in an unsolved Obama-era scandal involving the brothers hired by House Democrats who were fired when one was identified as “an ongoing and serious risk to the House of Representatives.”

That was when a computer server containing evidence had gone “missing,” noted Washington watchdog Judicial Watch has filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit seeking information on the Awan brothers case,

“The Awan Brothers IT scandal implicates national security and involves a cover-up by House Democrat leadership and, now, the Deep State DOJ,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

**SNIP**

“In a joint status report filed on December 5, 2019, Judicial Watch reported to the court that the DOJ claimed in a phone call that it was now unable to produce any records to either of the FOIA requests ‘because the agency was waiting for some unspecified action by Judge [Tanya S.] Chutkan in some other matter so as to avoid having to produce records in this case,'” Judicial Watch said.

Wasserman Schultz had charged the investigation was motivated by “Islamophobia,” despite evidence presented by a House inspector general appointed by then-Democratic Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

Or corruption. About the same thing.

Didn’t Sessions (of “Trust Sessions” fame) already let the Awans off the hook and return to Pakistan? Hasn’t this cow been loose for a couple years now?

Chutkan was born on July 5, 1962, in Kingston, Jamaica.[1] She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1983 from George Washington University and a Juris Doctor in 1987 from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. From 1987 to 1990, she worked at the law firm of Hogan & Hartson LLP (now Hogan Lovells). From 1990 to 1991, she worked at the law firm of Donovan, Leisure, Rogovin, Huge & Schiller. From 1991 to 2002, she was a trial attorney and supervisor at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. She was a partner at the law firm of Boies, Schiller & Flexner, where her practice focused on complex civil litigation and specifically antitrust class action cases.[2][3]

Her husband Peter Krauthamer, a judge on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, was nominated by President Barack Obama on July 11, 2011, and sworn in on April 20, 2012.[4] They have two sons.[5] Federal judicial service

On December 19, 2013, President Barack Obama nominated Chutkan to serve as a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, to a new seat created pursuant to 104 Stat. 5089, on July 1, 2013.[6][7] She received a hearing before the United States Senate Judiciary Committee on February 25, 2014.[8] On March 27, 2014, her nomination was reported out of committee by voice vote.[9] On June 4, 2014, the United States Senate voted in favor of final confirmation by a vote of 95–0.[10][11] She received her judicial commission on June 5, 2014.[3]

Confirmed 95:0 - Republicans, OMG she's black. We must approve even though she doesn't have much of any experience or else someone might call us racist

unsolved Obama-era scandal or crimes. The list is very long but no one will ever be held accountable.

Nothing better than giving the perps years to destroy evidence, get rid of witnesses and corroborate stories.

The day after the 2008 election, all I could say was ‘now all our enemies will have all our Intelligence information’. It probably would have been just as bad if McCain had won.

Is it true that the whole dossier mess will evaporate because it was McCain, a pretend republican, who brought it to the Left?

All brought on by ignoring the Constitution.

It says natural born citizen.

Obama is not one.

No child of a foreign national is a natural born citizen.

NATURAL BORN CITIZENS are NATURALLY citizens because they cannot possibly be anything else, born here of citizen parents.

Anyone born with divided citizenship is PRECISELY who the founders were excluding.

Obama was never eligible.

(And Epstein did not kill himself)

That’s because the GOP assisted in his usurpation.

While the original issue is troubling, this article appears pretty thin. Maybe an interesting note that maybe something is happening.

Said Judicial Watch: “The Awan brothers reportedly ‘were not given background checks before being given access to highly sensitive government information and no explanations have been given as to why.’ Additionally, ‘If they would have run this background check it would have found out not only multiple criminal convictions, but $1 million bankruptcy, a dozen lawsuits … it would have found a whole host of major red flags and the Democrats didn’t do any of those checks.’”

The watchdog explained earlier that there were cases of “unauthorized access” while the Awans were running things.
Imran Awan pleaded guilty to bank fraud before Chutkan in Washington.

As I recall, the Democrat members universally refused to cooperate with the investigation.
