Dan Bongino Sues Daily Beast for $15 Million
The Dan Bongino Show ^ | December 10,2019 | Team Bongino

Posted on 12/10/2019 9:21:15 AM PST by Jayster

Dan Bongino has filed a $15 million defamation lawsuit against liberal, online publication the Daily Beast after the website refused to retract and correct a false story it posted about him. The federal complaint, filed today in the Southern District of Florida calls the Daily Beast a “digital assassin owned and controlled by billionaire Clinton-devotees” and states that the website published an article on Dec 10, 2018 claiming Dan was “dropped” from NRATV when in fact, he did not renew his contract.

Prior to posting the false and defamatory story, the author of the article, Lachlan Markay texted Dan and wrote “Heard you didn’t renew with NRA TV?”–an indication that he was aware of the circumstances surrounding Dan’s status with his former employer.

Rather than report the truth as told to Markay by his source, the publication deliberately misrepresented that Dan had been fired from NRATV.

The Daily Beast’s blatantly false story about Dan was the latest in a series of articles aimed at disparaging his character. In fact, the leftist website had previously published an egregious mischaracterization of statements Dan made about the Parkland High School students and gun rights.

“The liberal activists inside of many media outlets have gotten away with character assassination for way too long,” says Dan. “The Daily Beast tried to smear me, and I guess they thought I would just take it. They were wrong.”

Listen to today’s Dan Bongino Show podcast for more details on Dan’s legal battle with the Daily Beast.

This is the way to combat the outright lies that the NewsMisleadia publishes.

Bravo Zulu!

Dan Bonino, Covington Kid, and Nunes, I hope at least one of all them score a direct hit. We need more republicans to step up and sue the media for smears and mischaracterizations. Odds are a couple will win and when the media takes it in the pocket book they’ll change their tune.

I’m sure it will be a long shot, but I hope Bongino - and not just the lawyers - come out of the gunfight victorious.

Dan has spoken briefly of this beef with the Daily Beast on his podcast.

This was the same NRATV that the NRA was paying hundreds of millions to Ackerman McQueen to produce.

Dan Bongino, Dana Lash, Cam Edwards, and others came out of NRATV and were solid conservative voices.

If telling a lie about a person is grounds for a lawsuit, then, Trump can sue the democrats for a billion dollars or more, since they’ve been telling lies about him on a daily basis.

Isn’t Nunes suing them as well? I wish Trump would sue, the guy gets slandered, libeled, defamed every second of every day

Well when you say he is suing them, I guess them is the liberal MSM, but his suit is against CNN.

I’ve been addicted to his podcast for about a year now.

They are so detailed I almost feel like I should be taking notes!
