You would think that one criteria for being the “Sportsperson” of the year would be being a “good sport”, not a stuck-up glory-seeker who thinks a team victory belongs to her personally.
Well, she did more than most to burst the bubble of “72%”, by making everybody focus on how if you play half the games, and draw 1/10th the crowds, and bring in 1/20th of the money, as the males doing the same job, you are not actually “doing the same job”.
The award or the magazine? Probably both!

The rest of the players, coaches, parents of players get ZERO platform/amplification. Any dictator, tyrant, totalitarian would die for this support.
