Sometimes the host of a beauty pageant can provide as much entertainment as the contestants. Even a perfectly timed eye roll can leave a mark.
The 2019 Miss Universe pageant aired December 8 on Fox with Steve Harvey serving as the host. Ninety women from around the world participated. Unlike some other recent beauty pageants, though, this one was striking due to the lack of controversial remarks made by the women. Two questions and answers did raise an eyebrow, though during the segment with the final five contestants.
Eventual pageant winner Miss South Africa, Zozibini Tunzi, was asked by Harvey about her opinion on if world leaders are doing enough to protect future generations from climate change. As soon as he finished the question, he noticeably rolled his eyes. Then Miss South Africa delivered an answer using a standard talking point by the climate alarmists the planet is dying.
Steve Harvey: Are leaders of today doing enough to protect future generations for climate change? If not, what else should they be doing?
Miss South Africa: I think the future leaders could do a little bit more. But, however, I feel we as individuals ourselves can also play a part in making the climate the way it should be in the future. I mean, we have children protesting for climate and I feel like as adults we should join as well, we should have corporation join as well, and the government should take it seriously. I mean from sixth grade I've been learning learning that the climate is deteriorating and the planet is dying and up to us to keep our planet safe. Thank you.
Liberal propaganda about climate change apparently starts in elementary school in South Africa, just like it does in America.
The second example was a question to Miss Colombia. Harvey asked her about the problems women worldwide are having due to a lack of access to reproductive health care. When a liberal uses the term reproductive health care," they usually mean the availability of abortions. Miss Colombia didnt come right out and use the word abortion but it sounds like it was implied. It was a bit confusing, though, because she doesnt speak English and a translator delivered her answer.
Steve Harvey: Millions of women worldwide lack access to reproductive health care. What do you believe is the most important issue in women's health and why?
Miss Colombia: I think the most important thing is women are able to choose about their own body. We have to have the option to have quality care. So any decision we make about our body, about our health, about our reproduction, will ever put us at risk, especially our lives.
Most of the three-hour pageant was generic beauty pageant verbiage. The women tried to deliver inspiring remarks and do it in a humble way. It was surprising to me that I only had to raise an eyebrow a couple of times over some liberal-tinged answers.

This is a symptom of systemic child abuse. Kids are taught K-college that the planet is dying, so obey all liberal mandates. And ignore what your selfish parents say, because they hate you and are killing you with their conservative capitalism.
“A third of parents (32%) also thought their children were anxious about global warming and climate change.”

They’re now open about that.
Can democracy survive climate change?
To face the invisible enemy, experts say there might be a need for “sweeping powers.”

Dream contestant reply: I strongly believe that we need more maps, and that if U.S. Americans would spend one hour looking at a map for every hour they spend holding signs in the street, they would see how small humanity is, compared to the vast oceans, and how small the Earth is compared to the sun, and concentrate on cleaning up after themselves and keeping their corner of the world as beautiful and clean as they can. Oh, and young women should be their best selves blah blah blah...
But its not as cold as it was last night. Global warming will kill us all is temperatures keep rising like this for 72 hours!
I think everybody missed the whole point of Miss South Africa winning, she is the first transgender to win Miss Universe.
I sure hope shes not gonna be traveling on polluting jets.
Prove me wrong
Not even close
Miss USA also black was much cuter
I can understand and almost forgive someone who is actually rather apolitical suddenly spouting a lot of nonsense when required to respond to liberal-tinged questions.
Regards,
Of course the airhead babes were told to expect that as a question. Their pretty little heads are fixated on their boob size, and cannot manage to string together enough words to form a coherent sentence. They did a good job of memorizing, however.
I don’t know , that large uncontrolled fusion reaction in space continues to bombard us with an incredible amount of radiation over a wide range of wavelengths and frequencies.
Thankfully the planet rotates to distribute this energy over time. Just think of the climate catastrophe if the planet stops rotating. It would be the end of beauty pageants. Yet no pageant member even mentioned the effect humans have on slowing the planets rotation. SHAME on them.
“I feel... I mean... I feel... I mean...”
She should have taken more time from 6th grade on learning public speaking rather than climate change, if she wants anyone to take her blatherings seriously.
True, but the funny part to me is, even if the threat was real, and we give government all the power, the government wouldn’t stop using fossil fuels or anything. Nobody in history has ever just stopped using the most peak efficiency technology and gone back to something less effective, because that’s a recipe for destruction. We’re never going back to horses deliveries groceries and sailing ships ferrying us across the ocean. If we did, China or Russia would just conquer us and we’d be back to using fossil fuels, just in slavery to them.
“Just think of the climate catastrophe if the planet stops rotating.”
That’s pretty much the situation with Mercury, because it is tidally locked with one side always facing the sun, like the moon is locked to the earth. Mercury would be very hot anyway, as it is so close to the sun, but in this situation, one face is a radiation blasted nightmare, while the other is in a deep freeze. There is only a thin band around the planet right at the cusp of the two sides, like a vertical equator, where the temperature is somewhat moderate.
What large busts. These women were built like 10 year old boys. No boobs, no butts, no hips. Just a lot of hair, except for the winner, and tons of make up. Who knows what any of them look like exiting the shower in the morning.
If you have abortions you can`t have Family Feuds.
