Searching For Clues was exhibited in the Hirschorn Museum and was offered at $85K.

I visited the Hirshhorn Museum in October. The exhibits included a diorama entitled "Pickett's Charge," which consisted of parallel streaks of paint smeared along the wall of the circular building. There was also an exhibit entitled "color wheel," which consisted of paint splotches of various colors splattered on the wall. Other than a curiosity entitled "Video Flag," an American flag made up of flashing video monitors, I thought the exhibits were ugly and pure garbage.

I have not been to the Hirschorn in many years but in past times I made several visits. It is one of my favorites on the mall. I learned to eat bagles with cream cheese there

Another sculpture I remember was a to full scale Popsicle carved from white marble with authentic wooden sticks.

For sure there is some very weird stuff exhibited but in the permanent displays and the outside sculpture, there is real art worth viewing
