What I witnessed today while I was in line at the Chick-Fil-A located in the Magnolia Mall in Florence, SC is why I love this place. I had placed my order and was waiting for my drinks when an older gentleman walked up to the server next to mine. When the young man behind the counter asked for his order, the gentleman stuttered, then got a look of fear in his eyes. "I've forgotten why I'm here and what I was going to get." The young server reached past the register, patted this man on his arm and said, "That's okay sir, there's no rush, take your time, I'm here for you while you choose what you want to eat." The man was wearing his Vietnam Veteran hat. The young man noticed this and said, "Sir, I would like to take this opportunity while you decide to thank you for your service to me and our country." The gentleman shook his head, said "You're welcome. Thank you, I remember what I came for." He proceeded to place his order.

Not likely to happen. The store across the street from my house is as packed as it always is.
Chic will survive along with many other companies that donate to groups like
Planned Parenthood, etc. I don’t hear about them boycotting those companies.

Agreed! Its really aiming for a secular company, some stores are run by Christians but lots of others aren’t.
It should be efficient, if all your doing is putting 2 pickles and a chicken on the bun or 8 nuggets in a box. I mean its impressive but also noy impressive
I love CFA as a place to eat. I won’t eat there anymore. Their ownership has joined the dark side. They betrayed us. It would have been better if they had never pretended to be a Christian Company. They may have been. They aren’t anymore.
I don't put down or feel superior to good, clean, hard-working fast food employees like we have here in my town. I support them and appreciate the work they do.
There’s nothing wrong with integrity. I like a good chicken sandwich as much as anyone else, but not at the expense of my convictions. I don’t guess that would be a problem for people who have no convictions.
Their reputation did precede the actual experience. Unfortunately, chick-Fil-A has now capitulated to the alphabet freaks by way of donating. But that will never be enough for the freaks; the next demand will be that CFA hire the alphabet freaks to staff every outlet and from there, their customer service, caring and compassion will plummet. Because the militant freaks hate, HATE, normal Americans and they will over time, ruin the chain’s reputation. We’ll start hearing about spitting in cop’s food; racist/bigoted messages will be scribbled on tickets and so on.
We all need to gently push the people and companies we deal with to return to the good works we are called to do.
Sometimes it requires us to stand and yell/fight loudly other times we need to be gentle. I have no idea what this time for this company requires. I hope I am lead correctly in my heart.
Honestly, I rarely eat CFA because it’s so dang crowded. Only when on travel and my wife wants it.

They are so so. I remember before I went to a CFA and all the people hyped up their sandwiches. After I ate one it was like ‘This is it?
Now their peach shakes hmm..hmm good.
Word for word the SAME boilerplate bullshit email I got. They’ve sown the wind and know what comes next.
Until recently I went to CFA about once a week, the location was convenient for work. Always found their product less than mediocre. I went to support a concept, money well spent. I didn’t leave CFA, they left me. Any conservative that doesn’t get that is an idiot. And has a lack of good taste in many categories.
Don’t confuse the compassion of a good employee with the evil of a corrupted corporation. They are not the same.
