The Tye Police Department issued a "warning" about a new batch of meth with a possible deadly consequence.
The Facebook post says its causes myonecrosis, which is a flesh eating bacteria.
Chief Jay Strong said he got the idea after hearing about seven people dying from flesh eating bacteria in San Diego after injecting a bad batch of black tar heroin.
"If you have recently purchased methamphetamine, please come by (Tye police headquarters) and we will test it," said Strong.

if you have a strong stomach- look up Krocadil- it’s a drug from russia that eats away flesh- yet addicts can’t stop taking it- it’s absolutely gross and entering the US-
I recall Louisiana doing this.

What’s a better anti-drug campaign than if you use meth you will die of flesh eating bacteria. Unless you self report and let us test it.

Confused here. Seems to me to be a solution trying to get funds for a problem that solves itself at no cost?
Used to be a sign on 77 saying “Drug search point 2 miles ahead, be prepared to stop”, just 1/8 mile before an off ramp. Cops would just sit and watch for anyone abruptly deciding to exit the highway and immediately stop them. Like shooting fish in a barrel.

Methamphetamine is chemical with no food value even to bacteria.
Why didn't they tell them to bring in their heroin - were they letting the bacteria "stop" the junkies and going after the speed freaks?
If so, well-played!
Basic chemistry. If you inject or consume a component or compound which your liver and kidneys cannot break down into those your body can shed, the $hit will eat you alive until you are dead. The high might be fun, but the mess behind may need a mop as your final exit.
Sounds like germ warfare... The cartels are fighting back!
I just read an article yesterday where 8 people had died or expected to from heroin tainted with the same thing.

I’ve seen people with “meth” sores. Is the chemestry thing you mentioned, the cause of it?
Meth has got to be one of the nastiest drugs I’ve ever seendestroy people.
