I would prefer they mandate gas - nitrogen, more specifically. Completely undercuts the anti-death penalty nitwits that it is COMPLETELY painless - though in my humble opinion, death penalty inmates should be put to death by the exact same method that got them there in the first place.

In California it would cost .22 cents a k/w and be too expensive... or during the execution the power would be shutdown by PG&E power as it got windy outside....
