I guess the other routes are substantially more technical (and less crowded) than this one. And harder to get permits?
So says the mountaineers who don't want to take the time to bring them down......./s
With that being said, I've always wondered why the outfitters didn't bring along one of these...
Just strap the dead body onto the sled then push it down the mountain where it would hopefully end up at an atmosphere where it could be picked up..........Or not

You have no idea what a 60% rocky and irregular slope at 10,000 meters and -20°C is like. For one month a year when it is even accessible. None whatsoever. LOL.
lol
Gotta think out side of the box dude........The only direction is down ........Strap him in and push him out.
All that said, it's still not something to be entered into lightly, as half a dozen people every year find out to their eternal regret.
Never follow stupid people when the going gets tough.

Not a good place to be inexperienced at climbing. Not at all. What the hell were they thinking?

From earliest childhood, told they can be/do whatever they want just because they want. Their whole life purpose is to “follow their bliss” and scratch whatever itches whenever it itches.
They’re special. Each and every one of them and an entire industry of psycho frauds exists to remind them of it every day in every way.
Besides, all the super women on TV and the movies can do it.
Can global warming be blamed? : )
“You know Mallory’s body was hidden under the snow but now we can see him”
Blame global baloney.
Mount Everest is covered in garbage and dead bodies: reportShocking amount of trash and bodies uncovered on Mount Everest
24,000 ponds of trash and 4 corpses removed from Mount Everest
World's highest dump? Mount Everest is covered in tons of trash and dead bodies
Even that is too generous toward Mars. (minus 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and air pressure on Mars is only 0.6% of earths sea level pressure and 0.13% oxygen, while air on Everest is 1/3 of the pressure at sea level).
But while you cannot fly any known earth helicopter on Mars as has been (barely) done, yet When NASA launches its new Mars 2020 rover on a trip to the red planet in July 2020, it plans to have the Mars Helicopter, a miniature robotic aircraft, attached to it. The Mars copter's blades will spin at 2,300-2,900 revolutions per minute, about 10 times faster than Earth helicopters do. - https://science.howstuffworks.com/mars-helicopter.htm .
I actually use Mt Everest in my arguments against CO2 caused global warming.
People blame CO2 for the temperature on Venus, yet it has almost exactly the same percentage of CO2 in its atmosphere as Mars does. Mars is quite cold.
Add to this the horrendous temperature at the surface on Jupiter, and you get this:
It is not CO2 that makes it warm. It’s atmospheric pressure. And the proof is this: Everest and Death valley have the same ratio of CO2 in their atmosphere, yet one is scorching hot and the other is bitter cold. The difference is atmospheric pressure.
Looking at several of the pictures posted above, one would think you could sit on your butt and slide down.....LOL!
