FOOTAGE has emerged of a migrant brazenly climbing over Donald Trump's new of US-Mexico border wall.
It comes just weeks after the US president bragged his wall as “virtually impenetrable” during a trip to the exact same $150million stretch of the barrier in California.

Technically, if he climbed over it, he did not penetrate it.
I mean, it doesn’t stop air traffic either.
It doesn’t stop people from building a human catapult and sailing over it.
Put out ads for a few good snipers and post them (the ads) along the wall.
I watched the entire 30 minute interview when Trump visited thew wall via FNC (its’ on Youtube BTW), around the 15 minute mark he actually says “we wont electrify the fence like other countries because we’re not like that” (not exact) which pissed me off..
What? They can’t use him for skeet shooting practice?
Mr Trump also claimed mountaineers had tested the wall to prove how hard it was to scale.He said: "We had 20 mountain climbers. That’s all they do, they love to climb mountains … some of them were champions.
"And we gave them different prototypes of walls, and this was the one that was hardest to climb. This wall can’t be climbed."
And then signs in multiple languages..saying we have claymores...pointed right at you.
What matters is the daily and monthly reductions in illegal crossings at these points compared to the no-wall situation. Climbing the wall is the kind of empty childish symbolism that gets the left so incensed about Trump.
If you give someone an entire day they can climb anything.Its not impossible.
Knowing this we need to beef up the security on that border.
We have better security on our military bases then we have on these borders.This has to be remedied now.
There are sections of the wall not yet fitted with electronic sensors to alert guards that people are attempting to cut or climb the wall. It’s already reduced the flow quite a bit and it’s not even completed.
I believe that the climber would have been stopped if the videographer were not a friend or anti-wall supporter.

The vast majority of illegals won’t be climbing over it.
There are sensors and cameras in addition to the wall. The article states that a Border Patrol truck showed up fast enough that the other two illegals with him abandoned their attempt.

I'd prefer automated catapults to hurl them back over. Bonus points if a quick DNA scan can identify which home nation he's from and determine how far he has to be hurled.
Other than using the kill zone to arrest or kill them, all of the other options will just slow them down. Which is what they are designed for.
Unless TPTB are willing to apply lethal force, the foreigners will keep coming.
The risk/reward ratio is too weighted in one direction.

Somehow reminds me of the Woody Allen scene where before being shot by the firing squad he asks for a cigarette, says he’s gonna quit smoking soon, and then gets over the wall to escape. But there is another firing squad for someone else on the other side of the wall.
Previous ideas for our Wall from FReepers: a deep moat. Alligators or snakes. Razor wire.
We can’t let our Wall be a laughing stock for leftists and illegals.
