You are exactly right in your analysis.

Many people forget or are too young to remember how EVERYTHING that Bill Clinton said or did was politically motivated and usually poll tested in advance to maximize voter approval. He had no principals or core beliefs other than his narcissistic belief in his own superiority and entitlement.

Hillary was even worse. She was the brains of the operation and was and still is as much of a narcissist as Bill.

1996. Somehow a situation that happened 20 + years ago is pro Trump. Exposing the corruption of the media and the FBI, I will love to see this movie. FWIW, I always find myself not sure what to think with his movies. The Mule was strange to say the least.

But Trump was the first man in history to use his political position for personal gain, so we are to believe.

Don't forget the first World Trade Center Bombing.

That happened under Clinton as well.

Yes, but that was early in Clinton's presidency and didn't have the urgency of threatening his reelection.

Clinton used the CIA and FBI to protect his reelection by covering up the TWA 800 crash and then rushing to condemn Jewell as the Centennial Park bomber BECAUSE it was only three months to reelection, not three years.

RE: Wait until Eastwood does a Movie about George Zimmerman.

My suggested title would be: “If I had a Son...”

Sure it was early but it was a sign of things to come.

When you look a the long list of things that happened under Clinton in his first term even with the FBI and Media covering for him it is astonishing that he managed to get a second term.

The FBI leadership and the media in general have done enough to vilify themselves; no movie is needed to help.

it is astonishing that he managed to get a second term.

Not when you factor in that he ran against Bob Dole.

This was Dole's "Dukakis moment."

That’s a reasonable assessment of the situation.

After things cool down, Disney will need to somehow disavow the current trilogy as “cannon” before they can reboot the movies. The problem is that it will probably be hard to do until K. Kennedy and the rest of the Woke crew (and their supporters in the media/blogosphere) have been shown the door. She is reportedly now considering retirement. The sooner the better.

Otherwise, the announced “hiatus” in releasing new Star Wars movies may be a long one.

Sure it was early but it was a sign of things to come.

Something else to consider...

Clinton seemed to develop a behavior of pairing an excessive act in reaction to a prior embarrassing act.

The WTC bombing was in February 1993, and then the Waco siege was in April, two months later.

Was Clinton over-compensating at Waco because he was stung by the WTC bombing and had to show strength?

In August 1998, Clinton bombed what turned out to be an aspirin factory in Sudan. One week earlier, he testified under oath that he had engaged in an "improper physical relationship" with Monica Lewinsky.

Just like with the back-to-back TWA 800 crash and Olympic bombing, did Clinton over-react on the latter to compensate for a perceived failure on the former, especially with the stakes so much higher?

They got a good TV series called The Mandalorian on Disney Plus right now that is Star Wars related.

If they had only put that much effort into the last 2 movies???

We saw the movie today. It was exceptional. It’s been quite awhile since we wanted to go to the theater to see a movie, glad it was this one. If the FBI was doing this kind of crap back then imagine what they have been doing recently. Eastwood was a genius to pick this story at this time in our history. The casting is great and the acting was too.
