All “Christmas” songs that have nothing to do with Christmas.
I’ve noticed in recent years that those are the type of songs that are getting the vast majority of airplay.
A parson is a pastor, minister, vicar.
So Parson Brown is a pastor who’s last name is Brown.

I can’t listen to any version of 12 Days of Christmas without hearing the old classic 12 Days of Clinton - On the ___ Day of Clinton he promised we would see ... 5 folding wings (of the Air Force), 4 balanced budgets, 3 liberal judges, 2 more million jobs, and a tax cut for you and for me.
All I want for Christmas is my ten front teeth. And to stay out of bars.

This. Based on his last fifty years of output, it's amazing that he was once one of the two most essential members of the best band in modern history.
But Lennon's "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" is even worse.

My Favorite modern(ish) seasonal song has to be “Jingle My Bells” by the Tractors. They also do up a good cover of “Daddy Looks A Lot Like Santa”
If we’re talkin’ about CHRIST Mass carols that is a whole category unto itself. Of which “O’ Holy Night” still raises goose bumps of Glorious Wonder.
