First time posting in nearly a decade. You guys are always way ahead of the curve on everything so I am probably wasting your time but I stumbled upon a website opensecrets.org you can read all the financial disclosures of pretty much any and all politicians. I have looked up Pelosi and Schiff so far but I am thinking this could be a decent resource to uncover all kinds of mischief. Wanted to know if this is old news and/or if anyone has ever found anything of interest. 😊

Both parties engage in seniority position extortion: to acquire and maintain positions on committees or caucus they must raise certain dollar amounts for the party.
You can search for donors to campaigns. I like to see who my neighbors donate to.
Seems rife with corruption. I haven’t entirely thought this through but I feel like it should at least be illegal for politicians (and their spouses) to be able to invest in the stock market, or any companies for that matter while in office. I’ve long suspected that many of them are early investors in many companies.... in which legislation follows to help these companies grow. It just seems all too easy for that to occur. Wish there was at least some attempt to keep them honest. Many would term limit themselves because of it and that’s fine... get in and get out do what your conscience tells you to do while you are there.
