And I think you are being much too charitable to Motormouth Hannity. My take is that he wants to look like he knows it all. When he has a guest come on to talk on a subject, he first presents, in his “question”, the essence of what the guest will say. I guess he wants the audience to think that there is no guest who knows anything that he doesn’t.
If Hannity had the ability to reflect on his performance he would study Mark Levin, an excellent interviewer.
When someone is guest-hosting for Motormouth, I will watch.
Bingo.
I could never listen to him live. I do the “fast forward” thing over him and just listen to the guests. The whole show is 90% Hannity talking, and about 10% guest talk. Takes all of 5-8 minutes to listen to the hour show, lol.
_________
Well said! Mark Levin is a great interviewer and listener.
Hannity is taped here ...... then in the morning we pass over most of what he calls his "questions". The guests' time is usually a little less than 10 minutes.
Hannity loves to hear himself. I wonder how his wife deals with that.
