NEW ORLEANS New Orleans police say 11 people were shot in an early morning shooting on the edge of the citys famed French Quarter.
A police release says two people are in critical condition and no arrests have been made. Police Supt. Shaun Ferguson tells The New Orleans Advocate/The Times-Picayune that a person of interest has been detained.
Police say 10 people were taken to two hospitals and another walked in. Further details havent been released.
The shooting took place on a busy commercial block of Canal Street that has streetcar tracks and is near many hotels. Ferguson says police quickly responded to the scene as patrols were heightened for this weekends Bayou Classic, the annual Thanksgiving weekend rivalry football game between Grambling State and Southern University at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

This is news? Sounds like a typical night.
I think we can figure this out fairly easily.
Democrat run city... most of the ‘charm’ in that city died years ago.
Police say 10 people were taken to two hospitals..
Not as bad as when they take two people to ten hospitals.
Thats when you know it was bad shooting.
“... two people to ten hospitals — Thats when you know it was bad shooting.”
Nope. That’s when you know Mad Mo was the attacker.
Grambling State vs. Southern University. What else is there to know?
The Fabulous French Quarter.
Don’t hear “Black Lives Matter” too much these days.
Mostly it happens somewhere other than the Quarter. Having this sort of thing happening there is bad for tourism.
Because to Democrats they dont
Unless its an election year
Glad I went when it still some of the charm MANY years ago. I won’t be back.
The 700 block of Canal Street is not the Quarter, there are a lot of hotels in that area.
“Not as bad as when they take two people to ten hospitals.”
</chuckle> of the day! Thx.
The only city that:
Ive had knives pulled on me
Ive had guns pulled on me
Ive been felt up by another male
Had a close friend held up at gunpoint, raped twice, and killed
I have no affection for that city, home for 8 years
Typical, sure. The only difference is this was in a single incident instead of multiple incidents.
I thought France wasn’t letting Christians and Jews into the country. Everyone knows they’re always responsible.
“Having this sort of thing happening there is bad for tourism”. Does that mean that they hush it up when it does happen?
He trolls libs in this area

AND on tourist-only Bourbon Street where the regular riff-raff are prohibited by MASSIVE police presence, PLUS many shot, few killed ... yeah, its pretty obvious what happened ...
