And there should be age limits & term limits on Congress & Senators too
I have very mixed feelings about term limits. It seems to make good sense, when so many of these elected people become entrenched in corruption.
On the other hand, the People have certain rights - and one of them is to vote for the candidate that they find most fit for the position - and they shouldn’t be limited in that right.
(The solution to every one of our problems is for The People - who under our Constitution possess all of the real power - to become more aware, proactive, and courageously involved.)
Term limits, oh hell, yes. That needs to be something the *people* vote on.
Age limits, no. No ageism. There are plenty of people who are sharp until the day they die. Others struggle with early dementia or Alzheimer’s much too early in life.
We, the people are the sole deciders.
