So the club did sue the waiter as reported, but then had second thoughts after the publicity went against them.

That's different from saying they didn't sue their waiter.

None of this was in the original story at the link at the top.

According to your source, they filed the lawsuit, media reacted and the retracted the lawsuit ... all on the same day!
