I would like to think this could never happen in America, but, have my doubts. The technology to track us all in everything we do, is getting better and better. As more and more financial transactions are done electronically somehow, as opposed to in cash/currency/coins, we all lose anonymity in that way.
Would Democrats/liberals/radicals, the next time they are in power in the presidency and Congress, seek to implement some version of “social” credit? I hope and pray that could never happen, but the technology is there. It could be irresistible to those who seek to control us to use it, even in a supposedly free society such as America.
To call these corporations "American" is a dubious claim. They may exist here on U.S. soil but most are ran, managed, and employed by armies of foreigners from countries that have no understanding of individual liberty.
Americans are already bludgeoned daily about their credit score, to where I have heard tales that credit scores are a deal breaker for romantic entanglements!!
