The Indians were doomed once European mariners started sailing the Atlantic. It is economics as much as anything else. How many acres does it take to feed an Indian family for a year in comparison to a European and later American family? We drove them to lands we didn’t want or couldn’t use. They got free use of the Great Plains until we figured out how to farm them.
The Indians got screwed, no argument, but I can’t imagine things working out well for them once the New World was discovered by Europeans.
