Have the French begun to celebrate Thanksgiving on the same day as we do here? In France, Le Jour de l'Action de Grâce (day of the act of grace) is a religious harvest festival that takes place in early October, similar to Erntedankfest (thanksgiving for the harvest) or Winzerfest (wine grower's festival) that takes place around the same time in Germany.
