You seem to be confusing government sanctioned torture with things that just happen in prison. There have been countless threads here where a picture of a perp is shown, someone's going to say, Bubba's gonna have fun with him.

No one is endorsing 'torture', just stating the inevitable.

No, I am not confusing anything.

When people are locked up what happens to them is a function of the government and its bureaucrat functionaries. Torture is sanctioned in our prisons and is carried out by the prisoners, mostly.

And jerks who laugh or joke about it are complicit in this torture.
