I don’t get it either, and I am not sure that we are interpreting the rules correctly. We may be too restrictive?

I think you’re the one who sent me the copyright restrictions from his website, right? I couldn’t find ‘em and you made it look easy? Or was it another sweet helpful FReeQ? Sometimes I get helpful FReeQs all confused in my brain.
When the Admin was asked why Garrison was elsewhere and we thought (still don’t know) that bitt was suspended for posting him here, the admin seemed surprised and said when we see his cartoons in the forum, we should just report it to admin for removal.
I do think all over the web, Twitter etc. there is now the sense that the copyright anvil is about to fall on conservative and Christian accounts/websites. Garrison cartoons were removed twice on that thread when bitt “went missing” and, with his website restrictions re his content, I think it’s properly interpreted. And we have been explicitly told no Ramirez cartoons (bitt again), so I was advising that unless we explicitly know it’s permitted - link only (I get separation anxiety when bitt is away). :/
In my pm ping - I explained that I believe admin is doing what they need to do. Whether I’m just becoming aware of the copyright issue now after years of ignorant bliss, or it really is, as I perceive it to be, an incoming cold front of copyright hostility aimed at political and religious parties who don’t fit the narrative, I want to help protect FR.

I don’t know, I did post a description on how to find the copy right list. I also researched the Garrison Cartoons and found his website that did say permission was needed.
What I don’t know is whether anyone from FR ever had a dialogue with Garrison to request fair use on FR.
I do think that conservative sites will be under attack like never before, and it is best to be extra careful.
