The worst will be in higher elevations, we’ll see. We have 2500 gallons of water in a tank (we always pump the well into the tank and from there it comes into the house), alternative lighting, wood stove, propane cook top, plenty of food. We heat water on the wood stove anyway, just to have on hand to save $ with electric hot water heater. Just no do it yourself electricity or internet.
Sounds pretty good. I have a solar generator that will run my cpap machine for 2 nights without a recharge-it would run my cell phone or computer I think.
This time of the year it might not have enough sunshine, although we could recharge it using the portable generator.
